Winter Grilling Tips
Here at Delta Heat, we grill year-round. While this can take a little more prep work, we truly believe that nothing tastes as good as food fresh-off-the-grill. Check out these easy winter grilling tips to achieve the most delicious cooking throughout the colder months. Cheers to the first day of winter!
Allow extra time to preheat.
Once you’ve started your grill, set all main burners to high, close the lid and let it preheat for 10-15 minutes.
Resist the urge to peek at your food if using the rotisserie or cooking at lower temperatures with the lid closed.
Heat escapes each and every time the grill lid is lifted. All Delta Heat Premier Grills come with a stylishly integrated Temperature Gauge—perfectly positioned to indicate the temperature of convected heat during closed lid cooking.
Cook under adequate lighting.
The Interior Halogen Lights of your Delta Heat grill illuminate the cooking surface, which is advantageous for the evening barbecue as it eliminates the need for external lights.
Keep your grill grates clean.
Use onion or citrus for a natural and gentle way to clean your Delta Heat grill grates after a day of outdoor grilling.
Stay safe.
Be sure to use long grilling utensils or protect your hands with heavy-duty grill gloves.
